On October 26th 2022 the GaiaGold team conducted a site visit on the Masara Mining Claim. The team took some grab samples for assay testing in which the results were pleasantly surprising and got everyone super excited.

From the main road to the mining site is about an hour walk. Upon arrival at the mining site we took 14 grab samples from 14 different gold veins surrounding the area on the property where the processing plant is located.

These gold veins ranged from quartz with chalcopyrites to soft dirt like veins called “sugar” veins to blue quartz veins.

The drilling done by Apex Mining where the rich gold veins are located are marked by shallow pits all around the property by the property owner.

The 14 rock samples were taken back to Lani Assay Laboratory for assay testing. This assay lab is located in the town of Nabunturan in the province of Davao De Oro. This is the same province in which the Masara Mining Claim is also located, about an hour apart from each other. Lani Assay Lab has been around for about 15 years and is one of the most reliable accurate assay labs in the area so we trust them with our samples.

Our 14 assay samples were completed on October 28th 2022. Out of the 14 samples 3 came back with a score of zero, however 11 were positive. 9 of the samples came back with grades ranging from 1.4, 1.8, 2, 2.33, 4.8, 6, 6.6 and 10 grams per ton. 2 of the samples came back with extremely good results. We were super happy when we saw one with a grade of 29 grams per ton and just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we saw the last one with a GRADE OF 225 grams per ton…JACKPOT!!!!!!!

All in all the site visit turned out to be spectacular. We will have more logs on the next visit which will be when we start the actual mining operation. Stay tuned.
